What is Galaxy?

Galaxy is the first ever pre-market terminal for token listings that supports low collateral, cross settlements and anonymity.

How It Works

At Galaxy, collateral plays a pivotal role in facilitating secure and trustworthy transactions for both buyers and sellers. In the context of selling premarket tokens, collateral acts as a form of security, providing assurance to potential buyers that the seller is committed to fulfilling the trade agreement.

Collateral on Galaxy is held securely in a smart contract until the transfer of tokens is completed, typically upon the Token Generation Event (TGE). The process of holding collateral until the transfer varies depending on the specific token being traded. Once the tokens have been transferred, the seller receives their collateral back along with the deposit from the buyer and the buyer will receive the tokens they paid for. Should the seller not fulfill the trade, the buyer will receive his deposit back, along with the seller’s collateral.

Galaxy’s fully fledged platform is set to launch in Q3 2024.

Key Features

Pre-market trading - Providing users the ability to trade tokens prior to their launch, giving sellers the option to liquidate their tokens and giving buyers the opportunity to speculate on massive returns.

OTC vesting trades - Despite being subject to a vesting schedule, Galaxy seamlessly integrates vested tokens into its OTC trading ecosystem, allowing users to list their vested tokens ( Post launch ) for sale on Galaxy's marketplace.

Pre-market bidding - Galaxy introduces a unique feature known as Pre Market Bidding, offering users the opportunity to bid on an available offer if the seller has opted in for it. This innovative feature allows buyers to potentially secure tokens at a discount compared to other pre-market over-the-counter (OTC) transactions.
